To buy or not to buy..

Roller Hat Available HERE

I have been toying with buying a roller hat for a few weeks now, on meeting a lovely lady out a few weeks ago, who was wearing one the hat really made her signature style and stand out from the crowd. It's regarded that either you CAN or CAN'T wear a hat, in other words it either suits you or it doesn't!!. I have always worn hats more so beanies, chunky wooly hats etc., to protect me from the elements, or to hide my festival hair! The roller ball hat is a style statement, not functional! And for this reason, this is why I have actually put thought into it and mentally visualised how it would suit and fit in my current wardrobe. With monochrome being a certain a trend of the season this hat would certainly suit the trend. I tried on Topshop's latest version at the weekend, my head which I think is slighty larger than average did not fit!!

 So the search continues! Lets just hope the phase doesn't pass and I eventually decide to buy!

Another long weekend...

My reading for the weekend! Available {here}

As another bank holiday weekend beckons, this weekend is going to be a relaxing one!. After a hectic bank holiday weekend 2 weeks ago that involved a wedding,alot of alcohol consumption,broken down car, followed by l another Wedding of a close friend last weekend (hence no posts!), I'm looking forward to not having to be anywhere, do anything or the prep that goes into a wedding. This weekend is all about chilling out with my lovely niece, catching up on reading and hanging out with my friends. Throw in a bit of car shopping, Hen Night planning, a walk in Lough Key Forest park and maybe a few drinks in a favourite old man's pub at home, relaxing might not even get a look in. But to me thats the relaxing weekend, I usually crave after few hectic weekends! I can't sit and chill all weekend, thats what Friday nights are for! So I'm looking forward to catching up on reading and the two books above are first on the list!

The above books which I purchased today, I seriously can't wait to get stuck into. ' Recycled Chic' is a  book I have been longing for, for quite some time! Simply put "30 Simple ways to recycle, and renew and reinvent your pre-loved fashions"- This book is truly stunning for any craft/fashionista girlie. There is so many wonderful projects that bring your old items back to life!

Living with less, now this is where I will struggle. I am a hoarder of sorts, I'll tell you what kind after I read this book! But de- cluttering has never been my strongest point, I struggle letting go! But I have come to stage where I am ready to explode if I don't get some proper order on my Wardrobe, followed by books, jewellery,shoes, bags ...the lot. So here's hoping for a productive weekend!!!

Have a good one!

La La La Long weekend!!!

The first long weekend of the year is nearly upon us and excited is an understatement. I love long weekends and all that it brings. This St. Patrick's weekend will be spent in Carrick-On- Shannon in Lovely Leitrim, celebrating my cousins wedding on Saturday where we will stay for the weekend and celebrate St. Patrick's Day on Sunday watching the parade with my little niece Erin, pictured above.
With so many weddings on this year, the above purple and lime green dress was kindly borrowed from my friend. With another wedding next weekend, and hens and more weddings in the next few weeks this was best option. I have my hint of green for the weekend thats in it , and my green dress (pictured above) for the day after. Wearing green on St. Patrick's day is a patriotic must for me!
So whatever you are up to for the weekend, chilling , parade watching, wedding attendee or having the good old Irish craic...Enjoy....
