The Stork has landed...

Christmas came early for our family this year.. My beautiful Niece Erin was born on Sunday the 18th November at 3.20pm weighing an impressive 7lbs and 14oz. Mother and baby are both doing really well. I was almost certain that a little boy would be joining our family but to all our surprise a beautiful baby girl arrived. I had the pleasure in meeting her yesterday and miss her already today. Unfortunately my sister and husband live over two and half hours but all going well I will get to see her again..Meanwhile I am getting regular updates and pictures from my sister which helps. I can't wait to start shopping for cute little outfits for her.. Let the spoiling commence...

Velvet nails...Yes Please!

This product landed on our desks in work and I had to share it ! Nails with a difference, you could say!  We decided we had to share it with our facebook followers so I said I'd make a little demo video from the above images!

Nail varnish has entered another realm with nail art taking on a new art form. This product ups the ante by adding texture, leaving you with a velvet feel as opposed to just the look. Simple to apply, you just apply two coats of the nail varnish to the nail, then sprinkle the velvet on the wet nail. Brush of the excess into the tray and re-use for again!. It couldn't be more simple! {Available here to buy}

Bank Holiday Fun...

Its been a busy couple of days.. I have been on annual leave hence the no posts which I should of pre warned. I love la la long weekends.. Especially this weekend where I had two extra days to play with.
So Friday night was the ritual of planning, preening and packing. What to wear! The never ending Dilema.. I wish I had a personal stylist who would plan, co-ordinate and pack my clothes! One day, when the euros starting rolling in..

Saturday was spent in Galway with a friend shopping for a dress for the upcoming weddings..Alas no dress but we stumbled upon a little gem of a vintage fair where I got my hands on a beautiful faux fur black coat for €50. The exact same style of coat is on the high street for double the price so I was delighted with my purchase.(Photos to follow) One of the stalls that impressed me the most was Cotton Face Vintage where I saw and tried on some of the most beautiful vintage pieces that I still think about. Really worth checking out this lovely lady's vintage finds.

Super cute jewellery, teapot and mug earrings

With an extra long weekend planned I headed to the Big Smoke that is Dublin to spend a few days with  my sister who was on her first week  of her Maternity leave.. After copius amounts of Downtown Abbey, my new obsession, we hit the shops once where I picked up another jacket! Well its getting colder outside..a girl needs plenty of jackets.. I purchased a beautiful black biker jacket from Mango.. The last one left I had been lusting after it for some time now! But thats all in another post....
